On Monday, January 29th students can participate in Grocery Bingo from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. from the Student Lounge in Building 5. Students can just show up to this activity.
On Thursday, January 30th, the SAC is sponsoring a Lazer Tag tournament, with both free play and intramural options from 2-4 and 4-6 respectively. This activity will be held in the gym in Building 5.
On February 3rd, the SAC is sponsoring Comedian Adam Grobowski. He will be performing at 11:15 a.m. in Building 5 at the stage.
Friday, February 7th- Lifeserve will be sponsoring a Blood Drive on Ankeny Campus in the Gym in Building 5 from 8 a.m, to 2 p.m. Students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend and walk-ins are welcome or there will be a link appearing in the DMACC Daily or students are welcome to stop by the Student Activities Office.
According to Erin Wheat, some confirmed activities for this spring semester include: Dueling Pianos show in March, Earth Day celebrations and Fountain Fest in April. Also coming up during the semester are meal deals including a walking taco deal.
Also throughout the semester students can get discount tickets to certain events happening throughout Des Moines. Be sure to check into the Student Activities Office for a list of these discounted tickets since many activities are seasonal.
