DMACC Volleyball Returns to Winning Ways

After being handed their first loss of the season last Wednesday to #19 Hawkeye community college, the #5 Bears volleyball team refocused and dominated both of their opponents 3-0 during last Friday’s Yellow Jacket Volleyball Invite in Rochester, Minnesota.

The first victory came against Madison, Wis. College in their second meeting against DMACC this season. Since their last match against DMACC the Wolfpack had performed to a 5-1 record but now unranked, fell to the Bears in straight sets, starting with a dominating 25-8 performance by DMACC. Box score statistics are only available for the first two sets; DMACC had nine kills on 25 total attempts with only six errors.

Through two sets, freshman Amber Dilsaver had DMACC’s only two blocks and freshman Daiton Martin hustled for a team-high five digs.
